Gossip Boy, oh Gossip Boy, it's been a long while since we've updated our News Section!
First things's first: Our show had its successful debut this past Saturday June 5th at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in Toronto! Thanks to everyone who came out and all of the well-wishes as we get ready to head to LA next week for our official world premiere at the HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL!

'Carly' & 'Calvin' : Fame monsters at it again!
Carla Lopez, who plays "Carly", has been in the studio working hard on her demo, with the help of her producer/collaborator (as well as the show's musical director) Peter Roca. We can't wait to hear what this girl's got cookin' because she's gonna blow y'all away! Just watch.
In other news, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll, who plays "Calvin", will be featured in the Disney TV show, "Connor Undercover" as Clumsy Burgular. That's one hot mess we want to see.

"Back to You..." April Fundraiser

This past Thursday, our production held its first fundraiser at Smiling Buddha Bar on College Street in Toronto. It featured the multi-talented cast showing off their fancy musical chops (with the exception of Brianne Hogan, who's talented...just not musically inclined. Karaoke singing notwithstanding).
Martin Lindquist, on the acoustic guitar, played a medley of both comic and sweet saccharine-y songs. Carla Lopez with Peter Roca (the musical director of the play) performed a soul-stirring R&B-jazz-infused set, which also featured the closing song of the play. Lastly, but not leastly, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll got the audience to their feet (because they were there mostly for him and his band) with his band, Proxy Set, closing out the night. All in all, it was a fun night had by all and the production thanks all those who came out to support us. Especially Toshi, the sound guy.
Stay tuned for more news about our upcoming fundraiser in May. It may feature Hogan on the karoake mic, and you won't want to miss that. Along with some other treats, like a special sneak preview of the show-within-the-show: "Hangin' With Mr. Mayer"!
